Music again....

This time I thought I'd try something with spotify to see if works, but this piece of music would have still been linked somehow even without my curiosity (it didn't kill cat, curiosity was framed by stupidity)

I'm not great with music so I have no idea what to say what about this track that I love so much and it has come in handy for learning a few foreign words as it played in the background. I'm sure it will help with writing one of the upcoming scenes I've been planning for awhile too, it just sets the mood atmosphere making it that much easier to visualise and therefore write.

Now let's see if this new gadget widget linky mabob thingmajig works :D

Nature's Microworlds

I've recently found a series called Nature's Microworlds which has been made by the BBC and is currently on their iplayer. If you want scan the qr code thing, yes  I have checked it first to see if it works, I like these qr codes my dad showed them to me before they took off, and I didn't really get it. But now I can see why they are useful, especially now that they are being used for ordering shopping in tube stations ( I shall post this later if  I remember) and hospital are apparently getting specially designed rugs/carpets with these nifty little codes on to give directions of where people need to go, so much for old fashioned signs haha. I found it really interesting and I'm going to do some art based on some of the landscapes, as I can't resist not to do so, and I shall post them up on my other blog later on...whilst I think about I probably should link this blog to my other blog....

Knate Myers (star time lapse videos)

It speaks for itself really. I'm was just in complete awe watching this video, it reminds how small humans are and how the world will just keep turning. It's just awe inspiring to watch the video and work of Myer's videos. I'm just stunned beyond words and would love to try this some time, only problem with living in a city and in England, light pollution and clouds haha.

Just some of the stills, I think growing up I've always had this fascination over space and the stars. The fact the small little dots glowed glowed so brightly and stood out against something dark and gloomy was just I always loved. I think space also explains why (especially in these photos) my favorite colours are blue and purple, and why things that glow in the dark just become automatically cool.

How to train your dragon

This has to be inspiring as there are so many fantastic elements of creativity. The animation from Dreamsworks how to train your dragon is based on a book; see already two amazing things of inspiration.

The character design is brilliant although apparently from what I'm told there are some things that aren't quite right like the main dragon toothless having retractable teeth when he really didn't have any in the book, but there's bound to be differences. It was quite entertaining looking at the actor who voiced the character stand next to their character.

The characters themselves all have a very stereotypically Viking feel which for some reason that is beyond me Vikings are rather closer to my heart.  I shall put them right at the end!

I could rant about this for days but I shall stop right after I finish talking and posting links to the music. The music is just, I can’t describe you’ll have to listen. I tempted to post the piano versions for some of them as well yay that’s going to be six links to music on youtube yay. I think my favourite is possibly forbidden friendship or test drive, hm I could never judge a competition they would all be winners :D

(Because I like piano, I think the fun thing is recently I've been listening to soundtracks to write my fanfiction and it must be productive as I managed to write over a 1000 yesterday, without too much effort! But I think that's because my mum actually became my soundboard yesterday and gave me the most fab idea and I just couldn't stop typing especially  when the music went with the scene, pirates of the Caribean and other soundtracks, thank you!)
